A mobile app we developed because I kept trying to look up Hawaiian words and always went to a website that was incomplete, or tourist driven.
So, I created this to help teach my teens/young adults in our mobile app development class as well as to share the language that I love and it's stories.
Within this app is a complete dictonary of all 13 Hawaiian letters ( 12 with it's own categories, the words that start with the okina { ' } are at the begining of the second letter in the word.
example: 'Ōlelo would be in the O category.)
Also included is the following:Mele/OliAncient Stories and FolklorePicture/Word associationWord of the day push notificationand our very own Top 10 list.
We will continue to update the list as we continue to add features that will help people learn and appreciate the Hawaiian Language.
